Upon the death of a member, the SDA will pay their next-of-kin $3,000, providing that certain conditions are met.
SDA MEMBERS : In the event of the death of an SDA member, the next-of-kin should contact the Union as soon as possible to apply for the Mortality Benefit. Ask any of our officials for assistance.

For extended hospital stays, the SDA will cover the cost of television rental from the fourth day onwards.
SDA MEMBERS: Send in a copy of your receipt to the SDA office and we will reimburse the television rental costs incurred from the fourth day onwards. Conditions apply.
